Eva Kolcze is a Toronto-based artist whose practice investigates tactility, transformation, and duration. Working across analog photography, film, textiles, and experimental image processes, she explores how environmental forces, geological formations, and the built environment shape images. Informed by a neurodivergent mode of perception, her work closely attends to sensory detail and material processes, treating images as events that unfold over time rather than as fixed representations of the world. Her work has been exhibited at the National Gallery of Canada, the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (MAC), MOCA Toronto, the Gardiner Museum, Nuit Blanche Toronto, the Cinémathèque québécoise, and YYZ Artists' Outlet. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from OCAD University and a Master of Fine Arts from York University.
