Ashlee Marcus is a Toronto based artist, administrator and technician from Thunder Bay, Ontario. She has a BFA Honours Degree from York University in Theatre Production/Design and a Certificate in Technical Hand Embroidery with Merit from the Royal School of Needlework in London, UK.

With over 20 years of experience in theatre and live event production, she brings narrative depth and structural precision to her visual art practice. Whether coordinating behind the scenes or executing meticulous stitch-work, her multidisciplinary practice centers on craftsmanship, collaboration, and the power of storytelling. Her textile practice is a stitch-and-humor mashup where pop culture meets pixelated perfection, allowing her to delve into portraiture in a way that is both intimate, dynamic, and often a little cheeky. 

As the one time House Technician in Tallulah’s Cabaret, Ashlee is delighted to be included in ARTATTACK, and that her work continues to make a contribution to her very favourite theatre.
