Jocelyn Reynolds is a multidisciplinary artist whose work demonstrates an enduring curiosity toward temporality, memory, transience, and the perception of time.

The through line of her art practice is the consideration of time as a queer phenomenon — the idea that linear, chronological time is a social-technological-colonial construction, and that life and death exist in a holistic cycle.

Jocelyn documents moments when ordinary, everyday life touches the sublime, in turn inviting the viewer to reflect on the pace at which they move through the world.

Kinetic and meditative, her body of work insists there is no such thing as an inanimate object. Conveyed through image and material, her work is a continuous endeavour to externalize the internal and to look into the realm of the unseen.
