Andil Gosine is a professor of environmental art and justice at York University in Toronto, Canada and author of Nature’s Wild: Love, Sex and Law in the Caribbean. A Getty Scholar (2026) and Beinecke Fellow (2024), Dr. Gosine’s artistic and curatorial practice includes exhibitions in Canada, the United States, the UK, Trinidad and Tobago and India. In 2025, Nature's Wild with Andil Gosine (RETURNS) was presented at Paul Petro Contemporary Art after the abrupt and politically charged cancellation at the Art Museum of the Americas (AMA) in Washington, D.C. To celebrate the forthcoming translation of his book into Portuguese, an exhibition inspired by it will take place in Brazil next year. “Everything for a boy who sings in the shower” continues his deep engagement with the French photographer Félix Morin, who is the principal subject of his forthcoming book, Félix & I.
