Scott Miller Berry is a filmmaker and cultural worker who has lived in Toronto since 2001. By day he is Managing Director at Workman Arts, an arts + mental health organization and previously Executive Director at the Images Festival. His film ars memorativa debuted at Experimenta India in Bangalore after showing in competition at festivals in Saskatchewan, Indonesia and Europe. Recent screenings of his short films have taken place in Cuba, Albuquerque, VUCAVU, Jakarta, New York, Lisbon, Seoul, Montréal and a fall 2015 solo screening with Colectivo Toronto. He serves on the Board of Directors with Long Winter Music + Arts Festival and TMAC (Toronto Media Arts Centre) and recent writing appears in The Grind, POV Magazine, Museum London’s exhibition catalogue for Christina Battle’s Under Metallic Skies and in Other Places: Reflections on Media Arts in Canada, edited by Deanna Bowen.
