Sasha Pierce received her Bachelor of Arts Degree, Honours, at the University of Guelph, Ontario in 1997 and a Master of Fine Arts Degree, at the University of Waterloo, Ontario. Pierce has had solo exhibitions at Zalucky Contemporary, Toronto, Ontario; Jessica Bradley Gallery, Toronto, Ontario; ACME, Los Angeles, California; and CTRL Gallery, Houston, Texas, among others. Pierce has also been in numerous group exhibitions at Mercer Union, Toronto; Dunlop Art Gallery, Regina, Saskatchewan; II, Ballhaus Ost, Berlin, Germany; and the University of Waterloo Art Gallery, Canada. In 2009 Pierce was awarded honorable mention in the Eleventh Annual RBC Canadian Painting Competition. Her works are in the permanent collections of the Doris McCarthy Gallery, University of Toronto Scarborough; Collection of the Canada Council Art Bank; RBC Collection; BMO Collection; the TD Collection and the Cleveland Clinic Art Collection (USA). She is represented by Richard Heller Gallery, Santa Monica, USA.
