Michael Snow (b. 1929) is one of the most influential and admired experimental and multi-disciplinary Canadian artists.  
Michael Snow's output spans more than fifty years of production, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, films, books, holograms, projections, installations, musical recordings, performances, and essays. In addition to this diverse body of work including experimental films, jazz recordings, the artist is best know for his"Walking Woman" series and large scale public art.
Perhaps one of the most interesting characteristics of Snow's output is his ability to alternate between creating work that is populist and work that is avant-garde and esoteric. 
In 1970 Snow was given a mid-career retrospective at the Art Gallery of Ontario and was the first artist to have a solo presentation at the Canadian pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
This print depicts an erect man having an erection and groping the iconic Walking Woman. There are three vertical aspects to the composition: blue male figure, the black female figure and the blue space at the left edge of the composition. Below the figures there are several lines of text and a thumbnail-sized image of Snow’s walking women at left.
