Ashlee Marcus is a Canadian multidisciplinary artist most well known for her hand-embroidered textile portraits.  She holds a BFA Special Honours Degree from York University and has recently achieved a Certificate in Technical Hand Embroidery with Merit from the Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace in England.
Her work has shown at Stitch Fetish in Los Angeles and San Francisco, The Dirty Show in Detroit, Hard Twist at the Gladstone and Gay Gardens at the John B. Aird Gallery in Toronto.
