Colby Jones

Colby Jones is an international queer lens-based artist currently based in Toronto, Canada. He holds a BFA in Photography from the Alberta University of the Arts. With a foundation in photo retouching, Colby merges technical precision with expressive visual storytelling. His work explores themes of identity, sexuality, and gender, often drawing from personal experience to create emotionally resonant, diary-like narratives. Each image serves as a reflection of pivotal moments, offering viewers a glimpse into his inner world. Colby’s recent exhibitions include Fashion Art Toronto (F.A.T.), Gallery 44 Centre for Contemporary Photography, and he has contributed work to community-focused initiatives such as Act x Snap and Gallery TPW.
